WildEast targets nearly 20% of the regional population in our mission
Being able to affectively communicate and facilitate our goals, however, has been made possible by the generous partnerships we’ve been able to harbour.

ARCHANT MEDIA GROUP

With the generous support of Archant Media Group, Wild East has the opportunity to become the common voice, the clarion call to arms, the catalyst for decisive change and the bridge between conservation agencies, farmers, consumers, business and individuals from all walks of life. With their partnership, we can make our community an exemplar of regional nature recovery.

THE UNIVERSITY OF EAST ANGLIA
The University of East Anglia has been instrumental in our ability to research and implement our wildlife goals on owned, donated and acquired land.

NATURAL ENGLAND

Natural England is pleased to be able to support and work with WildEast, alongside the many existing and emerging nature recovery projects and partnerships across East Anglia.
The call to recover nature reaches out to all sectors of society; farmers and landowners, conservation bodies, planners, the water industry, local communities and private companies. Wild East is well placed to inspire and bring many of these parts of society together in some exciting projects alongside initiatives elsewhere in the region, and encourage everyone to ‘dream’ big.
Our gardens, village greens, heaths and commons, verges, coast, rivers and wetlands, woodlands, small farms, large rural estates, green spaces in and around Norwich, Ipswich and our market towns are the building blocks for the nature recovery network in East Anglia.
The WildEast ‘pledge’ reaches out to local communities and sends a strong message that whatever our places and wherever we are in the landscape, we can all play our part helping nature recover and re-connect people with it.

GREATER ANGLIA
Train operator, Greater Anglia, has joined the WildEast movement, pledging over 6,400 square metres of rail station – the equivalent of five Olympic-sized swimming pools - land to help the region’s wildlife.
The new partnership will see all 56 station gardens across the rail network in East Anglia added to WildEast’s ‘map of dreams’ which is tracking the amount of land pledged to help meet WildEast’s target of giving 20% of the region back to nature by 2050.
Greater Anglia are delighted to pledge our station gardens to the WildEast movement as part of our desire to be at the forefront of the region’s green recovery from the pandemic
Land App
Our partner in working with Farmers and Estates to accurately map your WildEast pledge. LandApp helps land owners unearth potential on their land, collaborate with the community, makes applying for subsidies simple, and has strict policies ensure you remain the owner of your data, and we will never share it with another party without your permission. When collaborating with others on the Land App, you’ll decide who sees your plans.
