CREATING A WETTER, WILDER, WOODIER FUTURE

CREATING A WETTER, WILDER, WOODIER FUTURE

"For most of history, man has had to fight nature to survive; in this century he is beginning to realise that in order to survive, he must protect it."
JAQUES COUSTEAU

Here at WildEast, we want to return 250,000 hectares of land to nature and radically change how it is seen. We must slow, stop and reverse the alarming ecological declines that are happening on our watch. This is a mission statement that urgently needs your support (and that bit at the end of your garden).

IT’S A MISSION THAT NEEDS YOU TO JUST LEAVE A LITTLE LAND TO DO ITS OWN THING. NO MOWING. NO PLOUGHING. NO FLOWERBEDS (UNLESS THEY ARE WILD). JUST LONG GRASSES, DANDELIONS AND THE INSECTS, BIRDS AND ANIMALS THAT WILL MAKE IT THEIR HOME.

TOGETHER WE CAN CREATE THE WILDEAST OF OUR DREAMS

If every backyard, schoolyard, farmyard and industrial yard can save a bit of space for nature, we can realise this mission together.

JOIN THE MAP OF DREAMS

Biodiversity loss could be a greater threat to humanity than climate change, and is at an unprecedented level of decline in the history of mankind.

Nature is in crisis.  Wildlife lies shattered and fragmented. The last 50 years have seen precipitous declines across all species, from wildflowers and insects to mammals and birds.

We all need to take responsibility to restore nature. WildEast wants our region to become one of the world’s biggest and best nature reserves, enriching our lives, and restoring our wild hearts.

GIVE 20% TO THE WILD & THEN SIT BACK & WATCH NATURE DO IT'S THING

With your pledges of time, land and resource can and will reach our target. There is still along way to go, so if you haven't pledged yet, do it now, and if you have, make sure you tell everyone you know.
